Hello. I’m Sophie Jayne and I’m a yoga teacher in the Faversham, Canterbury and Herne Bay areas. Come along to one of my classes to take a moment away from the busyness of life, unwind and nourish your mind, body and spirit. Take some time out just for you. A little bit about me

My yoga journey started when I was a teenager and since then has led me all over the world. From learning the ancient wisdom of yoga philosophy from my teacher in rural Thailand to living and breathing everything yoga in the mountains of Tuscany and spending 10 days in a silent meditation retreat in Herefordshire. Along the way I have gained a 200 hours Yoga Alliance teaching certificate, a BSc in Social Psychology and am currently training to become a Humanistic Therapist. I have now laid down roots in the lovely town of Faversham and teach classes in the surrounding areas.

My Classes

My classes are for everyone. Yoga is for everyone. Age, background, ability, level of fitness will not hold anyone back from experiencing the beauty of yoga and all its wonderful benefits. My classes combine mindfulness, asana (poses) and meditation techniques to allow you to slow down and carve out time each week for reflection, stillness and inner peace, away from your busy schedule. In my class not only will you stretch and strengthen your body but you will learn mindfulness and breathwork (pranayama) techniques which you can take away with you and practise in your day-to-day life to enable you to de-stress and gain new perspectives. I hope that through my classes you will gain strength in body, mind and spirit which will allow you to uncover your true self and flourish in this hectic but beautiful world. I hope to see you soon.
